We LOVED our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful and private apartment. Taking the time on our arrival to show us the beaches, grocery stores, good nightly entertainment and the bus system was a generous welcoming we never expected ! Your hospitality was second to none ! The apartment was so clean with the convenience of every kitchen item anyone needed. We loved the quiet surroundings of the location and only being 20 minutes to great shopping and larger beaches was a plus. We hope this was one of many trips to Barbados, throughout the entire island we met such kind loving people and would love to return for some more hot, sunny r & r ! Netherlands 09 Sep, 2007 Marcel,Sue & Ashley What a wonderful time we had in Barbados (this August), the view from the balcony (and the great roof view) over the Caribbean Sea was absolutely breathtaking. We really enjoyed Ocean Bliss as our home during these 2 weeks and our daughter really loved Kittie and her friend as they got attached during the 2 weeks. We definitely enjoyed touring the island with our hirecar (the rental company was absolutely great - bending backwards to please us as you, Keith and Suzanne, did too). We will definitely be back to Barbados some time as we have not yet been able to go down Harrison's Cave due to rennovations, but most of all to enjoy the tranquility of the island, the beautiful beaches and the great atmosphere! Having taken the chance of booking the apartment without any recommendations and basing our decision on the very good price and the virtual tour on your website, I was a bit apprehensive. However, as soon as we arrived it was clear there was nothing to worry about. The apartment was great. It was spotless, spacious and had THAT ocean view. It rapidly became our home away from home. It was the perfect location from which we explored the island. We loved the peace we had being by the sea and also enjoyed the fact that we were able to drive to Oistins in about 10 minutes and that the same road took us to St Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown. Having the hire car was fantastic but even when we travelled by the ZR bus, the service on the number 11 was brilliant. It was regular and fast. I have wanted to visit Barbados for years and can say that the holiday lived up to all of my expectations. Thank you for all that you did to ensure that we had such a memorable holiday. We have stayed there 3 years in a row (long stays) and as always everything was perfect. The spacious clean apartment, the quietness, the cool ocean breeze, the view....pure heaven. When I first stayed there I was amazed at the space and facilities, real good value for money,Jennifer, who services the APts to a high standard and that extra bonus of Suzanne and Keith who are so friendly and down to earth. Manchester UK 31 May, 2006 Sue Gallagher - didn't know what to expect but everything about Ocean Bliss was way beyond our expectations. Spotlessly clean, beautifully equipped - by far the best self catering apartment I have ever stayed in. Keith and Suzanne are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean, the peace and quiet. Not in a tourist area, thank goodness. We hired a car and stayed right away from the 'blue chip tourists, surrounded by their armed guards'. We travelled all over the island, used the local buses at times (an experience not to be missed), ate at Oistins and met the wonderful people of Barbados. We taught a dance school some new dances and all in all, had just about the best time possible. Ocean Bliss is still vivid in my memory and we will return there. We always felt safe and welcome everywhere we went. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about Ocean Bliss or Barbados! I am quite sure I speak for Sandra (jennyintrini in the Cc line) too, and so I will tell you how much WE enjoyed our holiday. You provide a spacious, comfortable and attractive place in an area of peace and beauty. Even better, you are welcoming and friendly and make the visitor feel instantly at home. The facilities were wonderful from our standpoint, and we used them all. Sandra made spectacular dinners, and I made simpler breakfasts. Sandra watched on the balcony it seemed for hours for "my turtles" to make a very brief appearance at the surface. We went down to the beach at daybreak and sunset. We lived a very good life. Neither of us could have been happier. Our two wonderful weeks with you were a very special time in our lives, and we thank you for offering the perfect place for us to spend it. I will send one of our many pictures, showing what we called "our jacuzzi." Sandra discovered it during a walk-about on our first day, and we returned a number of times, hoping the tide was up to give us that jacuzzi action.All the best to Keith and you, and thank you for everything. I spent a wonderful 12 days in Barbados from 27th July to 8th August and it was my first time seeing The Crop Over, I never regret one second. Special thanks to intimate Hotels of Barbados I was a lucky winner of your sweepstakes and won two tickets to Roots and Rhythms at the Plantation. The food was good the show and dance even more exciting. I took along with me two of my friends (Bajans) who lives there and had never visited the Plantation before (neither had I) and they enjoyed the night now their talking about going back with others. I will be back again to Barbados and the plantation as soon as my holiday comes around and I definitely will be bringing along some friends from here next time. I stayed at the wonderful Ocean Bliss Apartments for the second time I love it there, it is spacious and have everything a home has, the lovely beach front Apt.,overlooking the sea, the quietness of it all is overwhelming.
